SSN (Sound Surfing Network) is a system that provides a new musical experience by incorporating mobile phone-based spatial sound control to collaborative music performance. SSN enables both the performer and the audience to manipulate the spatial distribution of sound using the smartphones of the audience as distributed speaker system. Proposing a new perspective to the social aspect music appreciation, SSN will provide a new possibility.
